Focus on Local: A Small Business Shopping Guide to Soho

Incredible independent business can be found wherever in the world you go, but in this guide, we’ll be focusing on the glittering and energetic streets of London’s Soho.

So, watch our reel and read on for more information on some of Soho’s small business gems.

1. Alice Through The Looking Glass

The Alice Through The Looking Glass boutique can be found in the heart of London’s West End, and is an absolute treasure trove of all things Alice. Honouring Lewis Carroll’s beloved young heroine and the various quirky characters she encounters, the shop references heritage pieces to create & design new contemporary collections, all made by British artisans.

Established in 2012, they specialise in Alice iconography, including first edition books, rare illustrated editions, gifts, fashion and unique objects of desire.

2. Dover Street Market

This multi-brand retailer and exhibition space houses high fashion, and art-forward garments for avant-garde fashion enthusiasts. With locations all around the world, including Tokyo’s Ginza district, Paris, New York, and LA, their iconic London space is a Soho hotspot you definitely don’t want to miss.

3. Alex Eagle

Alex Eagle is a curated lifestyle shop showcasing fashion, furniture, and homeware products. The space manages to combine the welcoming energy of a home, with the spacious luxury of a gallery, and the dynamism of a retail space for a truly unique concept store experience. All pieces are hand-selected by the brand’s creative director, Alex Eagle. Below the store, a team of experts beaver away, crafting the beautiful ready-to-wear collections you see in-store. For luxurious modern essentials to elevate the wardrobe and home, this store is the place to go.

4. The Soho Juice Co.

If anyone can capture the cool essence of Soho in a can, it’s The Soho Juice Co. Though this Soho native may not have its own physical store location, you may have spotted their tinnies on the shelves of many an established retailer, both in the UK and internationally. Cool and contemporary, and never more than 50 calories per can, preservative-free, gluten-free & vegan certified,  their drinks come in 100% recyclable cans with bright and bold branding, which encapsulates the innovation of their base in London's infamous cultural quarter. If you’re a retailer yourself and would love to stock a bit of Soho in your store, shop The Soho Juice Co. wholesale with CREOATE here.
