1. Christmas
It’s no surprise to us that Christmas is currently the most popular search term on the site. Not only is the big event less than three months away, but the UK is also experiencing supply chain shortages. BIRA, The British Independent Retailers Association, has been encouraging indies to get a jump on their Christmas stocking up since August.
2. Crystals
‘Crystals’ is one of our newest categories, and it’s already proving an extremely popular one. And that’s not exclusive to CREOATE: you can see from the Exploding Topics graph below just how much Google searches for ‘healing crystals’ have increased over the last five years
3. Candles
If there’s one thing we don’t mind about the nights drawing in, it’s the excuse to light our favourite candles a few hours earlier. And it seems like we aren’t the only ones; ‘candles‘ is currently the third most popular search term on CREOATE. Whether you’re after scented candles, pillar candles, jar candles or tea lights, we have you covered.
4. Dog
While you won’t find any dogs on CREOATE, there are plenty of dog products; from the practical (leads, food bowls), to the stylish, or even the downright extra, all dog owners (and dog lovers) are covered. Dog ownership is at a record high in the UK following the Covid-19 lockdowns — 17 million UK homes now have a dog, and the vast majority of pet owners enjoy buying Christmas gifts for their dog or cat.
5. Mugs
Another perk of the colder weather is the perfect excuse to have a hot drink in your hands at pretty much all times of the day. And while we all have our favourite mug, we also all seem to have a growing collection of them — it’s no wonder they’re a gifting staple.
6. Hot Chocolate
Everybody loves hot chocolate, that’s just a fact. Whether you’re after a basic powdered hot chocolate, a more elaborate hot chocolate kit, or a melting hot chocolate spoon, these make the perfect stocking fillers.
7. Soap
Soap may be a necessity, but it needn’t be boring. Bottled or barred, a gorgeous-smelling soap elevates a very ordinary practice.

9. Tea

10. Wax melts
Wax melts are a newer alternative to candles. A tealight is used to melt scented wax in a special holder, which then releases the scent of the wax as if it were a candle.
