Laura started her business to create jewellery for the modern woman, as well as run a company on her own terms. Her inspiration comes from traveling, museums, different cultures and old shops. A native New Yorker, Laura recently relocated to Portland, OR. She loves to visit and support small independent shops, and when not working, you can find her reading with a cup of coffee.
3. Abel Burners

Abel Burners are the chemistry-inspired fusion of a wax melt and a diffuser that we never knew we needed until now. The husband and wife team behind the brand believe in taking time for yourself, and that building good habits like taking half an hour for yourself, to unwind, relax and destress from the day is vital. Designed in Truro, UK, all Abel Burners’ products are eco-friendly, vegan and cruelty free.
4. Mauch Chunk Coffee Company
Based in: Pennsylvania, USA

For Pennsylvania-based Mauch Chunk Coffee Company, great coffee is a journey, not a destination. They pride themselves on their commitment to sourcing only the highest quality micro-lots and estate coffees. Their coffee is available in both 5oz and 12lb bags, and they donate 1% of our annual sales to environmental nonprofits.

Based in: Leeds, UK

hu&mee supplies a range of sweet and original illustrated greeting cards. They keep things minimal with pops of colour, and they ‘love pandas and puns’ (who doesn’t?). hu&mee use only high quality materials which are carefully sourced within the UK, and everything is hand-finished and packed by hand.

A woven Golden Hour Designs rainbow may just be the home accessory you didn’t know you needed. Amanda, the person behind Golden Hour Designs, has always been something of an entrepreneur (ever since she started selling her drawings on her bedroom door at age five) she knew that her calling was to create something with her own hands, put it out into the world and for it to bring joy to other people. And that’s exactly what she and her small Sacramento-based team are doing.
